Who we are

Galactica Group is the trading identity of Galactica Consulting Ltd, a company registered in Jersey. We are the parent group behind a set of specialist residential companies — including Galactica Innovation and Galactica Comfort — serving private clients and premium properties in Jersey and across Europe.

This policy explains how we handle the personal information collected through galactica.je. It is published by Galactica Consulting Ltd, which is the data controller responsible for your information.

What personal data we collect

When you make an enquiry through our website, we collect the information you choose to provide in the contact form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your telephone number, if you provide one
• The nature of your enquiry, and which company or service it relates to
• How you describe yourself — for example, homeowner, developer, or architect
• Anything else you choose to include in your message

We do not collect any personal information beyond what you choose to give us. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party profiling.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your enquiry and discuss what you are looking to achieve
• Direct your enquiry to the right company within the group
• Arrange a consultation, survey, quotation or proposal
• Deliver and manage any work you go on to commission

We will only contact you in connection with your enquiry and any work that follows from it. We do not send marketing emails, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Our legal basis for processing

Under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 — and the UK GDPR where it applies — we process your information on the following bases: your consent, when you submit an enquiry; our legitimate interest in responding to and managing enquiries; and the performance of a contract, where you commission work from us.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how our website is used — for example, which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. Plausible is a privacy-focused service: it does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track you across other websites. Because no personal data is collected, no cookie consent banner is required.

Who handles your information

We keep your information within the group and share it only with the people who need it to respond to you or carry out your work. Where we rely on trusted providers to operate our website, they act on our instructions as data processors:

• Netlify — hosts our website and processes contact-form submissions, which are forwarded to us by email
• Plausible Analytics — provides cookieless, anonymous usage statistics

Some providers may process data outside Jersey. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains appropriately protected. We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal and business obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it securely.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information, where there is no overriding reason to keep it
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information
